Gudeng Precision ESG Award: Encouraging Employees to Propose Innovative Ideas
Gudeng Precision launched the ESG Award activity in 2024 to foster innovative sustainability ideas among employees and enhance the group's overall ESG awareness, deepening the practice of corporate sustainability goals.
A total of 34 proposals were submitted in 2024, with senior managers serving as the judging panel. The top 13 proposals were selected for the finals. The final top three proposals were: 1) Reuse of FOSB aluminum foil bags, 2) Supporting the underprivileged – Gudeng Food Bank, 3) Recycling and repurposing of discarded cleanroom bags, and 4) Gudeng Mascot (souvenir) joint social welfare and education DIY activities. Congratulations to the winners who received awards ranging from $5,000 to $15,000!

Gudeng Precision's Aluminum Ingot Circular Economy Project
Gudeng Precision has been dedicated to the precision machining of semiconductor carriers for many years, and in recent years has ventured into the aerospace precision parts market through CNC machining technology. In order to meet customer expectations of reducing product carbon footprint, we continuously improve our processes to meet their needs. In 2024, Gudeng Precision will introduce a crushing and compacting unit to handle the aluminum chips generated during CNC machining, significantly reducing the volume for recycling and thereby minimizing carbon emissions during transportation.

Donation for the Renovation of Yushan Pavilion in Sanxia
The Yushan Trail in Sanxia District, New Taipei City, boasts an excellent geographical location, offering a panoramic view of National Freeway No. 3 from its peak. The trail is suitable for hiking with moderate difficulty, making it accessible to people of all ages. As a result, it attracts numerous visitors each year. However, due to its mountainous location, maintenance and renovation are challenging.

Gudeng Precision Industrial Co., LTD held a blood donation event at its Shugu Factory, with enthusiastic participation from 44 employees who collectively donated 66 bags of blood. This event was organized in collaboration with the Kaohsiung Blood Center, aiming not only to foster unity among employees but also to encourage active engagement in promoting health and well-being within the external community.

Caring for the Community: Acts of Kindness and Donations.
• Donation of Stairlifts for Elderly Safety In many older apartments in Taipei and New Taipei City, aged over 50 years, elderly residents and those with mobility issues often face challenges navigating stairs. Gudeng Precision, in collaboration with other businesses, has decided to donate 30 stairlifts to the New Taipei City Assistive Device Center. These devices will be available for rental to seniors and patients in need, aiming to provide greater convenience and assistance to the community.

DEI(Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) is undoubtedly a goal that global partners are joining hands to pursue. Gudeng Precision participated in the Lions Club International charity bazaar and carnival at the Banqiao First Sports Field. Employees initiated a donation drive, collecting a total of 125 items of lovingly donated goods for the event. Additionally, the company contributed its own products to support the charity sale, including Gudeng's integrated recycled plastic chairs, Bisou skincare products, and professional scissors from its subsidiary, Bo Sheng Industrial. During the event, which lasted three hours, the total amount raised through sales reached NT$47,670.

Gudeng Takes the Lead in Promoting Supply Chain Low-Carbon Transformation.
In the wave of global sustainability trends, Taiwan's manufacturing industry is inevitably seeking greener and more environmentally friendly production methods. Gudeng Precision Industrial Co., Ltd. recently led 30 suppliers in hosting a kickoff ceremony for the Supply Chain Decarbonization Transformation Initiative, officially launching the "Supply Chain Decarbonization Coaching Program." This initiative, selected by the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, is set to assist the Gudeng ecosystem in building a low-carbon semiconductor supply chain by 2025, aiming towards sustainability.
